“I have been allergic to animals—specifically cats and dogs and horses (as a child, we had all 3 on our property)—since I was in my late teens.  I have tried many different treatments (including 3 years of weekly serum injections with an Allergist MD) with no signs of improvement.

I was so sensitive that even if my children played with animals and got fur or dander on their clothes, I would react with an asthma attack. The asthma/allergies infringed on my social life and that of my family.

I really wanted to be able to visit friends who owned animals or attend meetings at someone's house without having to ask if they had pets first!  One night, I had had to use my inhaler in the bathroom to make it through a meeting for my son's preschool because they had cats and I had an asthma attack.


The next day I went for my regular BodyTalk session with Jeannie.   I always felt that there was an emotional component that wasn't being addressed.  During the session, we did an Active Memory technique around an incident from my childhood.  (Big surprise, it was the loss of my first cat!)  The link was very powerful, and I felt a huge weight lifted from my chest in the last exhale of the technique.


About a week later, I went over to a relative's house who I knew had dogs and a cat.  My sons and I were able to interact with the animals and I had no respiratory distress!  For the first time time in 20 years I didn't have to use my inhaler.

That day and everyday has been amazing and so liberating.  I have a greater quality of life!  BodyTalk is really powerful and works when other treatments have fallen short.”
